Abstract
As competition hots up in the satellite industry there is a new war being fought in the sky that is forcing Europe's operators to review their organisational structures and the services they offer. Satellite TV and audio are no longer the staple diet of satellite TV consumers. Today they are demanding multimedia and data services, such as Internet, e-mail, mobile satellite and Interactivity.
