Abstract
The growing demand for actions aimed at solving environmental problems has required efforts from all areas of knowledge to find ways to minimize the impacts caused by human action. Invariably, the questions and answers to environmental problems pervade the school, in this sense, the physics faculty positions are required, based on technical and scientific knowledge, able to address the concern of students. Motivated by this question, we infer how the undergraduate curriculum have inserted in its environmental issues, supply necessary for future teachers of physics. In this perspective, we analyze the political and pedagogical project of the degree course in physics, in force at in Federal University of Piauí, and indicated out the limitations present in this political project to the concerning of environmental issues and suggest curriculum changes of character, attitude and possible approaches that can be inserted in Pedagogical Political Project of that course the environmental bias needed to a physics course teacher trainer. © The Sociedade Brasileira de Física.
