Abstract

Dementias are clinical conditions increasingly prevalent in our society and doctors from different specialties should be able to diagnose and treat these diseases. In this article, we discuss mainly the clinical and therapeutic aspects of the most common forms of neurodegenerative dementias, with emphasis on Alzheimer's disease. © Copyright Moreira Jr. Editora.
