Abstract
Since the last economic crisis, a series of changes and reforms have been generated that have directly affected essential aspects of the Spanish system of labor relations, deepening and enlarging pre-existing weaknesses. Thus, once again, the impact of the crisis has been especially pronounced among groups that were already particularly vulnerable in the labor market, which has continued despite the timid economic recovery. The study of factors such as age and gender allows us to identify the structural weaknesses of the Spanish labor market and to propose an analysis in which labor law can function as an essential tool for the reconfiguration, in a necessary and urgently inclusive way, of the link between citizenship and work.
