Abstract

Playing is a crucial activity in children's lives, holding significant value for their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth. The motivation behind children's play is shaped by intrinsic drives that stem from their fundamental needs for exploration, creativity, and social connection. This research aims to explore various aspects of children's play motivation, considering internal factors like interest, curiosity, and enjoyment, as well as external factors such as the environment, peers, and the role of parents. The findings suggest that play serves not only as a source of entertainment but also as a tool for learning and self-expression, influenced by a blend of inherent and contextual factors. A comprehensive understanding of children's play motivation can assist parents, educators, and policymakers in creating environments that foster optimal development.Playing is a crucial activity in children's lives, holding significant value for their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
