Abstract

This article describes the activities performed and the results obtained in the process of Open Data Mining of the Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira referring to the Census of Basic and Higher Education. The methodology of the work is based on the steps defined by Knowledge Discovery in Databases, with an emphasis on Data Mining, through the application of Supervised Machine Learning algorithms. The rules and standards found aim to analyze, within the state of Pernambuco, the infrastructure of the schools, the profiles of students and the profiles of Higher Education Institutions.
