Abstract

Summary: The effects of posture upon circulatory haemodynamics in late pregnancy and their importance to the anaesthetist are discussed in relation to conscious patients, during general anaesthesia and following epidural or spinal blockade. © 1968 John Sherratt and Son Ltd.
