Abstract

Different bismaleimides and bisphthalimides were synthesized in a simple and environmentally benign method from the condensation reaction of maleic and phthalic anhydrides with different diamines on montmorillonite KSF and montmorillonite K-10 clays as solid acidic catalysts by microwave irradiations under the solvent-free conditions in good yields and short reaction times. ©ARKAT.
