Abstract

This book, which is translated from German, is divided into four sections: fundamental laws of motion for a viscous fluid, laminar boundary layers, transition and turbulent boundary layers. There is an extensive study of the Navier Stokes equations, including their derivation, properties and numerical solution. (A.M.T.)
