Abstract

Each species occupied a wide range of habitats, but some degree of segregation was found. Rainbow Etheostoma caeruleum and greenside E. blennioides darters predominated in riffles and Johnny E. nigrum and blackside Percina maculata darters were found mainly in pools or raceways. Fantail darters E. flabellare were common in both riffles and raceways.-from Authors
