Abstract

A new species Suttoniella arnaudii (Coelomycetes) is recorded from Catalonia, in northeastern Spain, on dead leaves of Buxus sempervirens. This is the first report of the genus Suttoniella in Europe. S. arnaudii is characterized by large pycnidia and conidiogenous cells, and short secondary arms of the conidia. A key to Suttoniella species is provided.
