Abstract

This article presents a study about the relationship and impact of the legislativeframework in which the dynamics of the labor market in Colombia is developedfrom economic liberalization in the nineties. Since unemployment is a major concern,not only for governments seeking to reduce it, but for those who face day today in a crowded job market complexities and asymmetries.According to the above, this paper is based on the importance and special incidenceof the phenomenon of unemployment on the economy and society in general; inthe same way, is because of the widespread concern in society arises when unemploymentfigures beyond the limits usually accepted; especially when the observedresults and the true intentions of the prevailing model suggest new options in howthe policies that regulate and direct the labor market and the economy are made.
