Abstract

This article deals with of binge eating disorder, which is a frequent trouble in present psychological practice without many researches about it. From a case of a patient (Elisabeth), the autor showes the positive value of this trouble and its function in the subjective reconstruction. In the present case, binge eating disorder appears constitute the incarnated trace of a traumatic past experience and its symbolization.
