Abstract

Platymonas-type flagellates from Goat Island Bay, near Leigh, gave rise to colonies of Prasinocladus marinus in culture. The colonial form has not yet been observed in the district. This appears to be the first record tor Prasinocladus in the Southern Hemisphere. © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
