Abstract

The first New Zealand Cretaceous insect fossil, an incomplete beetle elytron, is described. The fragment is identified as belonging to a member of the suborder Polyphaga, probably either a buprestid or chrysomelid. © Journal of the Royal Society of New Zealand.
