This research note brings readers’ attention to an extensive, ongoing research project namedHumour-Integrated Language Learning (HILL). The project investigates HILL as an innovativeapproach to language education and humour literacy. Within the limits of this short article,HILL is initially conceptualised, and then, an outline of the project is provided. Then, I describeongoing lines of the research, giving a snapshot of the preliminary results. Finally, futuredirections of the HILL project are elaborated on.
