Tindak Insult pada Kasus Bullying Verbal di Media Sosial Online (Kajian Linguistik Forensik)

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas linguistik forensik sebagai dasar dalam menganalisis suatu tindak bullying insult di media sosial online seperti Instragram, Facebook, Tiktok, dan X (Twitter). Tujuan penelitian ini sebagai akses yang digunakan dalam keilmuan forensik melalui sudut pandang linguistik dalam mengungkapkan suatu kasus kejahatan berbahasa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan berupa kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi berupa tangkapan layar suatu postingan, komentar, ataupun video. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan menunjukan beberapa hal, yakni tindak insult seperti penghinaan terhadap individu dengan data yang ditemukan sebanyak 8 dan provokasi sebanyak 7 data, dilanjutkan penghinaan terhadap suku 2 data, hasutan, penghinaan terhadap suku dan orientasi seksual masing-masing dengan 1 data, serta keilmuan lain, yaitu pragmatik sebagai pelengkap hasil analisis. Temuan ini sebagai pengingat untuk selalu berhati-hati karena masih banyak terjadi tindak kejahatan berbahasa terutama di media sosial. Kata kunci: Tindak insult, bullying, media sosial, linguistik forensik   ABSTRACT This research discusses forensic linguistics as a basis for analyzing a bullying insult in online social media such as Instragram, Facebook, Tiktok, and X (Twitter). The purpose of this research is to provide access to forensic science through a linguistic perspective in revealing a case of language crime. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through documentation in the form of screenshots of posts, comments, or videos. The results of the research found show several things, namely insults such as insults to individuals with eight data found, and provocation as much as seven data, followed by insults to tribes with two data, incitement, insults to tribes and sexual orientation each with one data, and other sciences, namely pragmatics as a complement to the results of the analysis. This finding is a reminder to always be careful, because there are still many language crimes, especially on social media. By using descriptive research, data is collected through documentation in the form of screenshots of posts, comments, or videos, then analyzed to find data that can be used as evidence of verbal bulliying. The results showed that insults as a form of language crime, through words and speech which are then disseminated on various online social media platforms, such as; Instragram, Facebook, Tiktok, and X (Twitter). The findings are expected to make a contribution to the science of language, especially forensic linguistics and a deeper understanding of verbal bulliying in the form of insults on online social media.
