Abstract

This study was intended to investigate the effect of satisfaction with child care facilities, conflicts between work and parenting, and parenting stress of working mom on the parenting core competencies of working mom, and is a model validation research using structural equation method to investigate the route between these variables. This study was conducted on working moms with children aged between 2~5 in S-si and identified conformity of the model. As a result, it was identified that satisfaction with child care facilities of working mom makes effect on conflicts between work and parenting, and a research model, which identified that parenting stress influenced by parenting conflicts of working mom makes effect on parenting core competencies of working mom, to be an appropriate model. The significance of this study in suggesting a model that can identify a relationship between satisfaction with children care facilities, parenting stress, conflicts between work and parenting, and parenting core competencies of working mom through concise scientific figures.
