Abstract

The use of technology roadmaps for the scientific and technological development of the airspace industry is justified due to the need to react to a large number of technological challenges and threats, which have been emerging over the last years and negatively impacting the companies and organization of the space industry. These conditions dictate the need to find efficient tools for managing the aerospace industry. Technology roadmaps belong to these tools. The study aims to prove the feasibility of using technology roadmaps as an efficient tool for managing aerospace industry development. The methods of the study include the opportunity analysis and the synthesis of the analysis results. As a result of the study, technology roadmaps are differentiated by location, industry, subject; the requirements to the content and the procedure for developing, integrating, and monitoring technology roadmaps are validated. Currently, technology roadmaps are increasingly used in strategic management on different management tiers: inter-industry, industry, company, and organization. A roadmap is a key tool of innovation activity. It is a comprehensive and all-round validated stagewise and multivariate case scenario.
