Abstract

Phellinus pseudoigniarius sp. nov., collected on Salix from Xinjiang in western China, is described and illustrated. It belongs to the Phellinus igniarius complex and has a perennial and ungulate basidiocarp. Microscopically it differs from other species in the complex by lack of setae and presence of cystidioles.
