Abstract

“Corruption is the illegal use of an individual for the purpose of obtaining material or intangible benefits from his or her career or service position in the interest of the individual, as well as the unlawful provision of such benefits.” The term corruption is derived from the Latin word "corruptio", which means purchase, breakdown, dismissal, moral (spiritual) violation by giving money. Usually it refers to the use of the official powers and rights granted to him by the official, as well as the status of official prestige associated with this, opportunities and relations, contrary to the rules of law and morality, in the interests of his personal interests. In this article, opinions and opinions are made about what corruption is, its essence and the harm it brings to our society and its dangerous crime.
