Mulheres que denunciam violência sexual intrafamiliar

Abstract

O estudo tem por objetivo compreender o papel de mulheres que fazem denúncia de violência sexual, perpetrada por um membro de sua convivência, contra seu filho/a. O trabalho apresenta resultados de entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas com cinco mães de crianças vítimas de violência sexual intrafamiliar. Utilizou-se a análise de conteúdo de Bardin, dividindo-se os resultados em quatro categorias: (a) susto, culpa, raiva, dúvida são as primeiras reações frente à revelação; (b) a dor da verdade torna-se força para agir; (c) as instâncias de proteção e de garantia de direitos e as expectativas de apoio e resolução; e (d) transformar-se e ir em frente. As motivações para a proteção decorreram do vínculo materno filial fortalecido e do reconhecimento do dever materno de proteger e cuidar. Destacou-se o papel crucial das instituições de proteção e garantia de direitos e concluiu-se que as adversidades e o sofrimento conduziram a mudanças na forma de encarar e perceber as experiências da vida dessas mães.The study aims to understand the role of women that denounce sexual violence perpetrated by a community or kinship member against their son or daughter. The work presents results of semi structured interviews conducted with five mothers of children who were victims of intrafamiliar sexual violence. We used the content analysis of Bardin, which divides the results into four categories: fear, guilt, anger, doubt: first reactions to the disclosure; pain of truth becomes strength to act; instances of protection and guarantee of rights and expectations of support and resolution; and changes and going ahead. The motivations for protection arose from the strengthened maternal-filial bond, and recognition of the maternal duty to protect and care for their children. We emphasize the crucial role of institutions on the protection and guarantee of rights, and concluded that adversity and suffering led to changes in the way mothers face and understand life experiences.
