Abstract

A fragmentary radius of Hesperotestudo bermudae from an underwater cave deposit in Bermuda is only the second known specimen of the species. The exact provenance and age of the specimen have been lost, but the record provides additional evidence that there was a population of endemic tortoises on Bermuda in the Pleistocene. © 2009 Chelonian Research Foundation.
