This research is intended to examine the effects of leadership behavior of school principals and schoolclimate on school quality of Technology and Engineering Vocational Schools (SMK) in Karawangregency. The method used is descriptive method and analysis. Based on the preliminary study atvocational schools in Karawang regency, the total population of 96 schools have been accreditedfrom various felds of expertise are Technology and Engineering, Business and Management,Agro Business and Agro Industry and Health. This study involved 35 randomly elected vocationalschools. Then to know the number of respondents used stratifed random sampling formula. Theresults of data processing and analysis revealed that school quality and leadership behavior ofprincipals are in high category, While the school climate is included into the category very high.Principal leadership behavior influences the quality of school, school climate affects the qualityof school and together the leadership behavior of school principals and school climate affect thequality of school. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menguji pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah daniklim sekolah terhadap mutu SMK teknologi dan rekayasa Kabupaten Karawang. Metode yangdigunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan analisis. Melalui metode deskriptif, dengan populasi kepadasekolah pada SMK di Kabupaten Karawang. Berdasarkan pra survey di sekolah SMK di KabupatenKarawang tersebut diperoleh jumlah populasi sebanyak 96 SMK yang sudah terakreditasi dariberbagai bidang keahlian yaitu Teknologi dan Rekayasa, Bisnis dan Manajemen, Agro Bisnis danAgro Industri dan Kesehatan. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 35 sekolah SMK teknologi danrekayasa se Kabupaten Karawang yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwamutu sekolah dan perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berada pada kategori tinggi, Sedangkaniklim sekolah termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolahberpengaruh terhadap mutu sekolah, iklim sekolah berpengaruh terhadap mutu sekolah dan secarabersama-sama perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah berpengaruh terhadapmutu sekolah.
