Abstract

Two new species of Brachysporium Sacc., B. dingleyae and B. novae-zelandiae, are illustrated and described. Five species of Brachysporium are found in Europe (Hughes, 1951) and two of these are represented in North America together with a third which is so far known to me only from Canada (Hughes, 1955) and the United States. None of these species was found in New Zealand, but two other species, represented by seven collections, are apparently new and are illustrated and described. © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
