Abstract
This research was instigated by the use of media in the learning of oxidation-reduction reactions that was less helpful for students in illustrating the abstract oxidation-reduction reaction concept and also adapting to the current online learning system using technology as a learning media. This research aims to analyze the validity and practicality of designing android based interactive learning media. It was Research and Development with reference to Borg and Gall development model, the steps were (1) collecting information, (2) planning, (3) developing, (4) testing the product, and (5) revising the product. The collecting data technique was done by using evaluation questionnaires. The product assessment was conducted by a media expert, a material expert, chemistry teacher and student. The validation result by the experxt of media and material was 88% and 88.75% and it was very valid criterion. It was obtained 88.85% for teacher practicality test and 86.40% for student practicality with very pracatical criterion.
