Abstract
A phytochemical study of the ethyl acetate extract (EtOAc) of Peltophorum pterocarpum stems, collecting from Ha Noi city, Vietnam, has resulted in the isolation and determination of six compounds, including bergenin (1), cinchonain Ia (2), lupeol (3), betulinic acid (4), gallic acid (5), and pyrogallic acid (6). The chemical structures of these compounds were characterized by NMR-spectra, and MS data. Compounds 2 and 6 were found in the genus Peltophorum for the first time.
