Kemampuan Perkalian dan Pembagian Bilangan Cacah Menggunakan RASCH Model untuk Siswa Kelas IV SD

Abstract

This study used the RASCH model to obtain an overview of students' arithmetic operations abilities in multiplication and division of whole numbers. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability to understand the concept of multiplication and division of whole numbers in learning mathematics in elementary schools, especially in class IV students in Tasikmalaya City. This study used a test sheet instrument which contained questions related to the material for arithmetic multiplication and division of whole numbers. The data obtained were analyzed using RASCH modeling, including WRIGHT map analysis, item suitability analysis, student ability analysis, scalogram analysis, and reliability analysis. The results showed that students still had difficulties in understanding multiplication and division of whole numbers. This can be seen from the less than ideal level of student response and the low distribution of student abilities. By using the RASCH model, teachers can review students' answers and get a more accurate picture of their abilities.
