Abstract

Modern day living requires having access to energy. How well a country is doing has some correlation with energy availability. Therefore, using renewable energy is the only way to satisfy public demand. Solar energy is the most famous, sustainable, and environmentally friendly type of energy. It is readily gathered with the aid of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels. Most solar panels, however, are positioned at predetermined angles. The implementation of a solar tracking system using IoT can lead to several positive outcomes and results. Solar tracking systems optimize the alignment of solar panels with the sun's position, resulting in increased energy generation. By utilizing IOT technology, the solar tracking system can continuously monitor environmental conditions, such as sunlight intensity and cloud cover, and adjust the panels' orientation in real-time. This ensures that maximum solar energy is captured throughout the day, leading to higher energy production compared to fixed solar panels.
