This research method uses text study. The nature of this research is descriptive research analysis with an idealistic pattern in reducing the verses of the Qur'an and other literature to find solutions to research problems. The results of the study found that Islamic education in the family produces children who are Islamic in spirit and socially competent which is carried out by: (1) setting a good example for children by showing and giving examples of doing good deeds, saying kind words, giving warmth and caring and encouraging children's freedom within reasonable limits, (2) giving good advice to children, by involving children in discussions about current events and then inserting advice in the form of prohibitions on doing all actions that are prohibited by religion, and (3) giving habituation of positive things consistently by applying habits in worship and actions that contain Islamic values (akhlak karimah).
