Abstract

This story, a performative autoethnography, is to be read aloud with a recording of “To Build A Home” by Cinematic Orchestra (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUFJJNQGwhk). Please start the recording and begin reading the story aloud at sound of the first piano chord. Read the prose, expressively, at a moderate tempo with slight pauses at the end of each paragraph while the music plays as an accompaniment.
