Abstract

FGM is one type of material that is currently of ten discussed in the civil engineering field. FGM can resist the high-temperature environment, and that is the advantage of this material. FGM is of ten made of ceramic dan metal. Ceramic at the top of the structure that can resist the high-temperature environment. And metal at the bottom of the structure that can resist the mechanical load. Therefore, Functionally Graded Materials are suitable for aerospace structure applications and nuclear plants. In this paper, the FGM skew plate has been modeled using DKMQ element with boundary condition SSSS and CCCC with various skew angles (15° and 45°). The results show that DKMQ element give a good convergence behavior for FGM skew plate.
