Abstract

In the field of fish farming, some lactic bacteria are feared pathogens. Lactococcosis especially is a perfect illustration of an emerging disease whose management is more or less successful according to countries. Nowadays, even if some efficient diagnostic tools are available, one should pay special attention to treatment and prophylaxis measures. In addition, international skills on this subject must be mobilised.
