Abstract

The lattice thermal conductivity is calculated without any assumptions concerning the form of the distribution function by a direct solution of the phonon Boltzmann equation. The scattering processes were assumed to be elastic. Compared with the standard method of calculation, the result of this method is about 30% lower.
