Abstract

We here present triply differential cross sections for the electron impact ionization of inner valence orbitals of thymine measured using a conventional (e, 2e) spectrometer. The measurements are performed in the coplanar asymmetric geometry at an incident energy of 250 eV and 20 eV ejected electron energy, over a range of momentum transfers. The experimental results are compared with theoretical calculations. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
