Pessoas, cultura e estrutura organizacional: Aplicação do framework Gc@Bu na Biblioteca Universitária da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

Abstract

Knowledge management is University Libraries come meet a demand for innovative management solutions, enabling new perspectives, behaviors and contemporary attitudes to the librarian in the development of their profession. This article reports the experience of the University Library of the Federal University of Santa Catarina in implementing the Framework GC@BU that are available verification criteria for evaluation of services and propose improvements. In this, the elements were analyzed for the "Module Knowledge Management Coordination" (element People, Culture and Organizational Structure), the University Library of the Federal University of Santa Catarina. The criteria of the GC@BU were fortnightly discussed by a committee, appointed by the institution for the purpose of implementing practices and project management knowledge to improve the flow and lifting information and knowledge in the libraries system. The verification and evaluation criteria and the actions related to the element of people, culture and organizational structure are presented. Finally, it was found that most of the items had predominance of good and regular evaluation; however, most of the actions proposed those elements are in advanced underway, to concede its improvement.
