Possibilities of BIM and GIS in the system for assessing the sustainability of the urban environment

Abstract

The article discusses BIM and GIS technologies that help to ensure the safety of construction and operation of buildings and structures. The importance of the introduction of digital technologies for ensuring sustainable development of cities and regulating the impact on agricultural territories is emphasized. Based on the research and analysis of a number of scientific publications, it was revealed that the integration of BIM and GIS allows you to fundamentally move to a new approach to planning and management and organization to improve performance: environmental, economic and social. The possibilities and indicators of the application of these technologies for various sustainable development goals are presented.
