Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of communication technology-based learning media in enhancing students’ learning motivation and the effectiveness of learning in Grade II at SDN Sai, Soromandi District, Bima Regency. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. The data were analyzed to illustrate students’ motivation levels before and after the application of technology-based media, as well as its impact on learning effectiveness. The findings show that prior to the use of technology-based media, students’ learning motivation was relatively low, indicated by a lack of active participation and interest in lessons. After the integration of learning media such as videos, interactive images, and simple animations, there was a significant increase in students’ learning motivation. Students became more enthusiastic, active, and engaged with the material presented. Furthermore, the use of technology-based media also improved learning effectiveness, making previously difficult material easier to understand. Despite limitations in available devices, teachers’ creativity in utilizing existing technology was able to optimize the learning process. This study concludes that the use of communication technology-based learning media has a positive impact on improving both learning motivation and effectiveness at SDN Sai.
