Abstract

We analyze the forced vibrations of an auxetic rectangular thermoelastic plate. In contrast with the existing classical studies, two important phenomena have been considered: thermoelastic damping and second sound. In this way the presented model much better describes thermomechanical processes running in "negative" materials of finite extent. © 2013 Mathematical Sciences Publishers.
