Abstract

One of the most important elements of the tourism industry are the cruises. All the vessels and specially the passenger ships are considered vulnerable to the incidents came from the intentionality of the humans. As of September 112001, important changes have come about in security matters, especially for the Western Hemisphere. Ports and vessels, given their vulnerability due to internationalization they represent, are the target for all kinds of terrorist attacks.
