Abstract
As a community, the scholars in the International Business field conduct research on phenomena associated with business conducted across borders and in multiple countries. But as individuals engaged in the study of international business, how many of our community are actively engaged in living a life that is international? By our own actions and activities, do we personally encounter and learn from engaging with new countries and new markets? Would doing so benefit our ability to identify and address critical research questions? This article addresses these issues and questions as it calls for International Business scholars to become more international.
