Parent-mediated communication interventions for improving the communication skills of preschool children with non-progressive motor disorders

Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the effectiveness of parent-mediated communication interventions in improving the communication skills of preschool children with non-progressive motor disorders. Specifically, this review aims to determine the effectiveness of parent-mediated communication interventions in improving the communication of preschool children with non-progressive motor disorders, when compared to no intervention, and when compared to clinician-mediated interventions.
