Abstract

This article presents a brief review of the literature on urban mobility, as well as on existing urban mobility rates, highlighting the purpose for which they were developed, which were applied and the IMUS application results in the Metropolitan area of Greater Vitoria. The literature review results indicate that each author chose the most feasible approach to their region, adopting different solutions depending on the existing urban situation and the reality of each region. It follows that there must be greater investment in regional infrastructure and policies regarding the proper application of methods aimed at improving urban mobility.
