Abstract

This book summarises current knowledge and evidence for a variety of clinical problems encountered by Sports Physicians and others involved with active patients. It is a compilation of chapters by authors with authority and experience in their chosen field. In addition to management of common clinical problems, this book will attempt to provide the reader with the evidence for exercise and sport related to primary and secondary prevention of common problems such as osteoarthritis and diabetes mellitus.
