Abstract

Mathematical models are used not only in the natural sciences and engineering disciplines, but also in the social sciences. This new book presents topical research in the study of mathematical modelling, including modeling of complex nonlinear processes; nanopowder production by vapor-phase processes; laser induced thrombus formation in microvasculature; toggle mechanisms driven by a permanent magnet synchronous motor and modelling of hydrodynamic turbulence.
