Abstract

This paper analyses the preimplantation genetic diagnosis (pgd) in Spain, and the legal aspects. It exposes the technical characteristics, as well as the ethical and social consequences. it compares the different rules of law about assisted human reproduction techniques in Spain, and those in some European countries.
