Abstract

The article presents a case study of the interface between the legal and policy framework in Awaso, Ghana which aims to protect children in educational institutions and the high incidence of sexual violence against girls in schools (SVAGS) in the country. Topics discussed include the policies and reforms in educational system of the nation, the sexual violence against girls, and the causes of sexual violence in schools.
