Abstract

The effect of the specific surface area of natural phosphate on Michael condensations involving chalcone derivatives and various nucleophiles is reported. The catalytic activity is intimately connected to the specific surface area of the catalyst. The best activities were observed with the thermally treated micronised catalyst (NPm). ©ARKAT.
