Abstract
INTRODUCTION. The attitudes that teachers present towards people with disabilities, and, particularly, towards the promotion of Inclusive Education, determine students’ learning op-portunities, and increase the feeling of belonging and participation in the activities. AIM. To know the scientific documents related to attitudes towards people with disabilities in the stag-es of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. METHOD. For the documents search the following databases were used: Web of Science, Scopus, and PubMed. To search for docu-ments, the following keywords have been used: “Preschool”, “Inclusive education”, “Attitudes” and “Disability”, obtaining a final number of 13 valid documents, identified until June 2022, date on which the search of the documents was carried out. For the inclusion of the documents at the review, a series of inclusion and exclusion criteria were established to select suitable documents. RESULTS. Its shows that most of the members of the educational community have positive attitudes towards people with disabilities. DISCUSSION. Through inclusion in the Preschool and Primary Education classrooms, students develop a sense of belonging to the group, as well as foster values of respect, tolerance, and empathy towards the group of people with disabilities. Therefore, promoting inclusion in school from Early Childhood Education is one of the main objectives of the current educational system.
