The ICT course and its relationship with literality

Abstract

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have been revolutionized in recent decades, bringing the change in the way as man communicates and interacts. Before it was decided to include Information Technology and Communication (ICT) in educational institutions, which are aimed to support the teaching-learning process in which it was observed that the subject is passive environment managed computer only to copy the information found therein. This study was conducted at two institutions of inclusive secondary education for 117 students at the College Paulo Freire and Pascal A.C. College, which are located in the city of Aguascalientes state capital. the quantitative approach, with a quasi-experimental design in order to determine whether the ICT course has a relationship as part of the learning process of the students was used. Under the constructivist approach and structure of literacy, and implement designed a course to the control group with four axes, namely: ICT literacy, ethical and legal use of information and construction of learning, once the 2015-intervention, the application of Postest students 2014 school year was held. The results generally show a favorable disposition by students in this new way of working for them, since an increase was achieved in the use of ICT favorably and this is reflected in the way as implemented in investigations and tasks of other subjects.
